Online Zoom class April 2020
The experience of Come and Cook has helped me develop my cooking skills so much. It has taught me so many things and has been really enjoyable and exciting. I also think that its’s fantastic that Karen has adapted to the current situation, and is now offering classes via zoom video calls. The online experience was fun, tasty and kept me entertained.

Karen, I want to let you know that because of your business and programs you run for kids who want to learn how to cook, my daughter has gained confidence and brought those skills home, with her own little cooking draw of utensils. She is out making scrambled eggs for us for breakfast now! We can’t always attend every holidays, and we are a little far away to do a weekly course, but she is better for attending even a couple of courses! She struggles with ADHD inattentive and teaching her skills of following a recipe and structure helps to improve her exec functioning! So does her dance and any physical activity! So thank you for sharing your love of cooking!!

Regular school holiday student
My son LOVES coming to “Come and Cook” on the school holidays. He has learned how to cook many fabulous dishes from scratch, he has become more confident in the kitchen and he has been taught skills that he will use for the rest of his life. Karen is both kind and patient with her students. June 2018
Karen runs a smooth operation for both young and old. She involved all participants equally at our birthday party in the preparation and serving of food. Her approach is personal and hands-on, setting her apart from others. Many of the guests commented on what an excellent day it was. These life skills are preparing them for the future in an entertaining and enjoyable atmosphere. July 2018
Catering for food intolerances
My son loved Karen’s course! Karen is super flexible and tailored the ingredients for him based on his food intolerances which was so appreciated. He came home with an array of delicious breakfast food and I’ve not been able to get him out of the kitchen since 🙂 Can’t recommend Come and Cook Highly enough!

Special Needs Specific NDIS Groups
4 week meal-making, life-skills course $288 Mondays 4-5:30 pm October 12, 19,26 Nov 2 or Saturdays November 10:00-11:30 a.m (these are both sold out now).
These classes are run specifically for kids, teens and adults with additional needs and many students attend with a support worker. They are smaller groups (6 max) and run at a slower pace than the other Dinner Clubs mentioned below. Support workers are very welcome.

Tuesdays (2 spots left) Wednesdays (1 spot left) This after-school club is for 7-13 years max 8 kids and starts 20/21 October 4:15-5:45 pm weekly
