Online Dumpling class

I really enjoyed the dumpling class. I’ve always wanted to know how to make them. I think that the dumplings we made were far better than the shop bought even for my first time making them. We have already made more for dinner.

Online Zoom class April 2020

The experience of Come and Cook has helped me develop my cooking skills so much. It has taught me so many things and has been really enjoyable and exciting. I also think that its’s fantastic that Karen has adapted to the current situation, and is now offering classes via zoom video calls. The online experience was fun, tasty and kept me entertained.

Parent of ADHD child

Karen, I want to let you know that because of your business and programs you run for kids who want to learn how to cook, my daughter has gained confidence and brought those skills home, with her own little cooking draw of utensils. She is out making scrambled eggs for us for breakfast now! We can’t always attend every holidays, and we are a little far away to do a weekly course, but she is better for attending even a couple of courses! She struggles with ADHD inattentive and teaching her skills of following a recipe and structure helps to improve her exec functioning! So does her dance and any physical activity! So thank you for sharing your love of cooking!!

Birthday party Mum June 2019

What a brilliant time we had at Come and Cook for our daughter’s 10th birthday. The kids learned, sang, danced and cooked some amazing dishes. An absolute ball and Karen made it fun. They all want to go back! Thanks Karen

Make, Bake and Take workshop June 2019

What a great experience for my two girls. They loved every minute of it. Was also awesome as they got to make things and actually eat them when usually they wouldn’t have even tried it.
Thank you so much for showing Lilly and Chloe the cooking. They had such a great time

My son LOVES coming to “Come and Cook” on the school holidays. He has learned how to cook many fabulous dishes from scratch, he has become more confident in the kitchen and he has been taught skills that he will use for the rest of his life. Karen is both kind and patient with her students. June 2018

Birthday Parties

Karen runs a smooth operation for both young and old. She involved all participants equally at our birthday party in the preparation and serving of food. Her approach is personal and hands-on, setting her apart from others. Many of the guests commented on what an excellent day it was. These life skills are preparing them for the future in an entertaining and enjoyable atmosphere. July 2018

Catering for food intolerances

My son loved Karen’s course! Karen is super flexible and tailored the ingredients for him based on his food intolerances which was so appreciated. He came home with an array of delicious breakfast food and I’ve not been able to get him out of the kitchen since 🙂 Can’t recommend Come and Cook Highly enough!
