    Every child has their own batch of dough and learns how to create a fun and yummy menu as well as bread-making techniques and becoming a kneading expert.

    Carbilicious fun for the keen little chef and so much fun rolling out your own bow of dough, working independently to create delicious treats

    Join our fun and friendly cooking class as we learn all about dough!
    Every child whips up their own batch and learns how to create a fun and yummy menu as well as bread-making, dough-handling techniques and becoming a kneading expert.

    Menu description: Using their own big bowl of Pizza Style dough, chefs create;
    Cheesey Pizza Braid
    Quizza (Quiche Pizza)
    ✅Fruity Apple Galette with homemade custard
    Super Cinnamon Scrolls with Vanilla Icing.

    Please note:

    This menu is not adaptable to gluten or dairy free. 
    Kitchen-confident 10 year olds also welcome to book in. 
    If you would like to come and cook with your child, please book 2x tickets.

School holidays: 2 age ranges.

Please note that Littlies classes are for 7+ year olds (under 7 must book 2 tickets to attend with a parent) and Biggies are for 11+ year olds (kitchen-confident 10 year olds can also come to the Biggies group).


Our kids cooking workshops are:

  • HANDS-ON for maximum culinary skills practice and creativity.

  • SMALL GROUPS in order to get everyone fully involved in the fun! Chefs work in teams of 3 creating the dishes.

  • FRIENDLY Brisbane kids culinary classes have been running since 2015 here at Come and Cook in The Gap, Brisbane.

  • WELCOMING we get everyone cooking

  • POPULAR holiday workshops book up quickly. Many mini chefs return to each school holiday cooking classes to try out the fun, themed menus on offer. 

  • PARENTS can come along and join the fun cooking with their children, please book 2 tickets. Kids under 7 will need to have a parent attending too.

  • YUMMY FOOD chefs take all of their delicious food made home with them at the end!

Vouchers are available for great presents for any 2 hour cooking class for Littlies 7-11 year olds ($79) or Biggies 2.5 hour cooking class ($93) for 11+ year olds.

Fun & Engaging Classes

Don't miss out on the next holiday cooking classes! Join our email list below to be one of the first to find out news on future date releases.

Please read our Terms and Conditions to decide if this type of class is right for your child:

  • Behaviour expectations; respectful, kind, safe and inclusive. Classes are held at a medium to fast pace with turn-taking and listening to instructions needed to participate.

  • These are stand-up lessons to replicate the reality of being a chef and move about easily in the kitchen space.

  • Aprons are only worn by one participant  (please feel free to bring your own), surfaces are regularly disinfected and hands are frequently washed and dried with single use paper towel.

  • Participants just need to bring 2 plastic containers and a drink bottle. They will take home all food made and students need to arrive 5 mins early with enclosed shoes on and long hair tied back.

  • Class sizes are always kept small to be uniquely hands-on with kitchen skills to practice individually and within a group of 3.

  • Dietary requirements must be disclosed at time of booking and please also request a vegetarian option at this time.

  • Classes are targeted at specific age ranges and the lessons are 'stop and drop'.
